What is your initiative? 

My initiative will be a community created around the collection of lived experiences shared by Indigenous Entrepreneurs and Community Leaders from across Turtle Island. The collection will be developed through a storytelling lens with the hopes of creating connections, support, and inspiration.

What is your connection to your chosen community? 

During my undergraduate degree, I developed relationships in community, listened to stories of lived experiences, engaged with literature from Indigenous scholars, and most impactfully, learned from my mentor Dr. Price about my chosen community. These experiences and relationships were the foundation of my connection to community and left me with a desire to strengthen my relationships with community members and identify areas where my assets could be beneficial in serving them.

What are you looking forward to this year? 

I am most looking forward to the opportunity to continue building trust and relationships in community, being able to give back to a community I hold close to my heart, and challenge myself throughout the implementation of this initiative.
