Social Innovation to support underage pregnant girls through apprenticeship skills in the Kyaka II refugee settlement camp in Uganda.

What is your connection to your chosen community?

As a Congolese-Canadian, I was a refugee in Uganda for more than a decade. Currently, Kyaka II refugee settlement camp in Uganda receives daily hundreds of Congolese refugees without sufficient support and provision.

What are you looking forward to this year?

Supporting one girl at a time, and fighting against gender poverty now and for the future.
